Wow, this trailer gave me serious goosebumps! Invictus revolves around the release of Nelson Mandela and the fall of apartheid and then also South Africa’s Springboks winning the 1995 Rugby World Cup highlighting the part it played in uniting a nation. The movie stars Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela and Matt Damon as Francois Pienaar, it is directed by Clint Eastwood and based on the bestselling novel called Playing the Enemy by John Carlin.
Follows Nelson Mandela after the fall of apartheid in South Africa and during his first term as president when he campaigned to host the 1995 Rugby World Cup game as an opportunity to unite his countrymen.
