When the first shots for the Nintendo Wii console first made the rounds in 2006, its came in a variety of colors, white has however been the only color available for purchase to the public. Until now, on the 4th of June Kotaku learnt that the Black Wii Console and Black Wii Peripherals will start selling in Japan this August. Unfortunately there has been no official word as to when these will be sold to the rest of the world.
