I want to take the time out to thank the websites and the people behind them that have made 2008 one of my better design years. The websites below are the ones that have been my sources of inspiration and the ones that have most often given me that little push when there was a difficult task at hand.
Please let me know if there are ones that have been important to you and maybe we can give them an honorable mention, who knows, maybe they’ll be in my list for 2009. The websites are in random order.

No inspiration from any SA sites?

Hi Herman,I think I started with a list of around a 175 websites and narrowed it down to these 25, not an easy task…
Please be so kind as to put down the SA sites that you think needs to be on this list and maybe I can do a follow-up post on those and the others.

Some really awesome sites… love the simplicity and slickness in alot of the designs
we do have some local guys who are easily up to par with these sites… have a look at our site http://www.capetownalive.co.za
i am not involved in design and development and have been really impressed with what our in house team from virtual architects have done! would love any feedback!
